Kartra Pricing Plans 2020 | How much is it?

[et_pb_section][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type=”4_4″][et_pb_text]

For some reason, the creators of Kartra are hesitant to show you the prices of the service upfront.

This annoys me a bit, because not only is the price a crucial factor in determining any software…

…they also happen to have some of the most attractive pricing out there!

So, without further ado let me share with you the price of Kartra.

What does Kartra cost?

Kartra starts at $99 per month, which includes all features, up to 2,500 leads, 15000 emails sent, 50GB of bandwidth, and 1 custom domain.

What happens when you exceed your allowance?

For leads, you are automatically upgraded to the next tier, and your next bill will be charged the higher amount.

For anything else, you simply get charged a small additional fee for the extra usage.

  • $0.99 per 1,000 additional emails sent
  • $0.19 per GB additional bandwidth
  • $10 per extra custom domain

Here’s what’s awesome about Kartra’s pricing:

  1. EVERYTHING is included. You don’t need to upgrade to a higher tier to get access to affiliate programs, advanced statistics, more funnels, or anything else.
  2. The STARTER package is EXTREMELY competitive, considering it includes funnels, emails, affiliate management, calendar scheduling, help desk software, and much more built-in.
  3. You can get some nice discounts (20-25%) by upgrading to an annual plan.

How Kartra’s pricing compares to its rivals

In this section, I’ll just compare the cost of Kartra to its main rivals.

This section will be updated as I go through, and test the competing software.

ClickFunnels

Full article: Kartra vs ClickFunnels (coming soon.)

Note: I’m extremely familiar with ClickFunnels because I knew it before Kartra, and we use it in my day job to run over 100 funnels with.

The starter accounts are comparable in cost, but you need to upgrade to the $297/mo tier with ClickFunnels to get affiliate management included.

ClickFunnels also doesn’t include a robust email marketing system, helpdesk, or calendar scheduling – so you’d save your subscriptions to those services by using Kartra over ClickFunnels.

Conclusion: ClickFunnels is inferior in every way to Kartra, and no matter how many cars Russell Brunson sends me I would never recommend it.

Kajabi

Kajabi is an all-in-one tool that focuses on memberships and course creators.

The starting package is $149/mo or $1,428 if you pay yearly. (that comes out to $119/mo)

Let’s start with the good stuff for Kajabi:

  • It includes up to 10,000 contacts or 1,000 active members for the cheapest plan – that’s pretty generous!
  • Has built-in webinar, and survey tools

That’s about it for Kajabi.

Here are the negatives for Kajabi:

  • More expensive in every way and plan
  • Lots of features not available until you upgrade to a higher tier (remove their branding, advanced automation, affiliate program, the code editor not until $399/mo!).
  • Only 3 products and pipelines (funnels) allowed at the cheapest plan. This is super low!
  • Some features not available at all: Helpdesk and Calendar scheduling.

Conclusion: Kajabi is not awful in terms of price and offer, but it really ticks me off when companies reduce features to higher tiers.

Why should the beginner online marketer have to buy a 100,000 lead package, just to be allowed to edit the code of the pages?

Or a 25,000 lead package just to be able to remove Kajabi branding?

For me, Kartra wins easily.

ActiveCampaign

I’m wondering why people would compare Kartra to ActiveCampaign, as ActiveCampaign is just email marketing with a CRM built into it.

It’s great for email, but you won’t be able to build funnels or run any kind of sophisticated business with it.

With Kartra you get the great email management you know from AC with all the advanced automations you can imagine, but it’s included in the subscription.

So there’s really no comparison.

Kartra pricing conclusion

I hope you found this article useful on what Kartra actually costs.

To me, even the cheapest Kartra package offers a ton of value and features for the beginner or experienced marketer.
